Fees

Fees

My fee for a 50- to 55-minute individual therapy session is $200 (or $195 if you pay by bank transfer). My fee for a 70-minute couple or family therapy session is $230 (or $225 if you pay by bank transfer). I accept some clients in a lower fee range, based on financial need and other factors; feel free to inquire about this.

I do not accept insurance as an in-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. If your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with a statement (“superbill”) to submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement of a portion of the fees you have paid.

At this time, I am not enrolled as a Medicare provider. Federal regulations require enrolled or opted-out status to treat Medicare-eligible clients. Because I am neither enrolled nor opted out, I am unable to accept Medicare-eligible clients (including those with Medicare Advantage plans). If you are unsure whether your coverage includes Medicare, please check before contacting me.

Under the No Surprises Act, a federal law, health care providers are required to provide a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services, to clients who do not have insurance or are not using insurance to pay for those services. You may request a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a therapy session with me, or at any time.

Cancellation Policy

Since in scheduling an appointment I reserve time specifically for you, I ask that you notify me at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you do not provide me with at least 48 hours advance notice, you are responsible for payment for the missed session.
